Ann-Maree has been involved in the entertainment industry since she was very young. She has performed at various events including Newcastle Knights home games, Model For Life, and a heap of performances in the Filipino/Australian communities in Newcastle and Sydney. She has also been in a couple of musicals including “Anything Goes” and “Grease” which was held at the Civic Theatre in 2003. She has recently completed a Diploma in Music Industry Business and over the last six months has been working on developing her own sound. Her influences in music spread over a broad spectrum from 1930’s classic artists like Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra to contemporary sounds of RnB such as TLC and Destiny’s Child. She hopes to one day have a successful career in the Music and Entertainment Industry.
Ann-Maree Bowdler, 19 , 5'7", is used to winning. Model Quest 2004 winner, she also won the 'Best in Swim wear Miss Philippines/Australia 2003' award. According to her, forest destruction is the biggest problem our environment faces today. "Ozone depletion is another major issue. We only have one ozone layer we need to take care of it," she has been quoted as saying.
In 2005, "Miss Earth Australia" was incepted. The first nationwide search for an official contestants for the Miss Earth pageant drew nearly 80 Australian women for the pageant final held in Sydney. The 2005 winner is Ann-Maree Bowdler, 1st Runner Up Elinor Lascelles, second Runner Up Katie Ford. Ann-Maree claimed 3rd place in the talent section of the International Final held in Manila and the Philippines.
